I was born in St.Petersburg
(Leningrad then), Russia. Graduated from the 239 high school,
which is the best school ever. Studied for some years in
Politech
(now St. Petersburg State Technical University). Been in the army, done
a lot of crazy stuff like speleo tourism and had a lot of fun :)
In December 1990 I've decided that it's time to move and immigrated to Israel.
I can't say it was less fun, but it's for sure was a lot of hard work...
I've got my BSc in Computer Science in
BGU, done big part of my
masters degree, but gave up at some point because decided, that work is more
important than a study, well... I guess I was also a little bit too lazy to
finish my thesis :)
At January 1993 I've started to work at
Compugen, being one of
the first employees, it really was a lot of fun. We've had a great people
to work with, good product, worked through the nights... I really miss those
good startup times... After that I've been with Compugen for 9.5 years, done
a lot of different things from device drivers and network programming to Web
programming and databases, System Administration and people / project
management.
In 1997 I've moved to live in
Boston, USA. About that time I've met my wife, Alla
and we've got married in August 1997. We live in Newton now and have two
great kids, Bella & Benjamin.
